Senior Payroll Specialist

Your new role

You will prepare global payroll data for payroll processing by third party payroll partners, in collaboration with country HRBP’s, ensure all payroll transactions are managed in accordance with SOX controls & country defined regulations at all times, where deviations from local & international regulations occur ensure these are escalated within company HR, lead communication of roles & responsibilities for individual countries, ensure timelines for all parties (internal & external) for key payroll processing events, execute day-to-day processes such as data entry, data corrections, mass uploads, reversals / reissues.

You will also review, analyze, and reconcile payroll and other payroll related data according to established timelines, standards, and procedures, verify timekeeping records and consult managers / employees about any discrepancies Calculate and run off-cycle / supplementary payrolls, calculating retroactive salary data as required, prepare various benefits-related reports including eligibility files and employee change files for vendor uploads, ensure timely and effective resolution of employee / manger queries, within defined SLA’s with the highest level of confidentiality & professionalism protecting company & their employees data & privacy, audit and validate all payroll transactions, examining for accuracy & consistency.

You will support Global Payroll Manager with day-to-day execution of duties and support the team regarding proper procedures, policies, and requirements, develop ad-hoc financial and operational reporting as needed and requested by Finance and HR.

What you'll need to succeed

You need bachelor’s degree, minimum 3 years in payroll in various organizations, Fluent knowledge of German language (orally and in writing) and communicative English, demonstrated understanding of German payroll and accounting practices and principles with a thorough understanding of gross to net calculations, demonstrated understanding of HR & Benefits policies, within an international environment, effective planning and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, ability to work with highly sensitive information in a confidential manner, projecting trust & credibility with leaders & employees and Effective analytical & problem solving capabilities, with the able to identify issues & make data driven decisions.
