In this Quality Engineer role, you will be part of our new remote connectivity team inGliwice, Poland.
We are looking for experienced engineers with a DevOps mindset to take ownership throughout the entire development and product lifecycle process, and be responsible for designing, programming and testing as well as maintenance of the new customer facing SAP Remote Support Infrastructure application, APIs, network connectivity tools and utilities.
You will be the subject matter expert on an agile development team regarding quality assurance, test related processes, methods and tools.
You will analyze, define, implement and execute quality and test related activities, developing applications and test scenarios for unit and integration tests and creating a detailed test design providing a dedicated testing environment.
This includes driving, preparing and executing manual as well as automated tests and analyzing test results and driving resolutions.
Through your previous professional experience in an agile environment, you will have knowledge of test automation and scripting, including root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
You will have knowledge and working expertise of SAP UI5 and SAP Cloud Platform application / service development and experience in RDBMS and SQL.
Basic knowledge of lean development infrastructure and processes such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins and exposure to Continuous Delivery practices is also required.

This role sits within the Customer Experience Group (CX) of the Intelligent Enterprise Solution (IES) organization. We drive and run superior experience across all of SAP’s customer-facing IT solutions.
One component to support SAP transforming to the Intelligent Enterprise is the next generation remote support framework.
The goal of this project is to provide a platform for all Lines of Businesses at SAP to utilize a modern, reliable and simplified infrastructure to access our customers heterogenous solutions remotely.
