  • Manage the retained counterparty risk / credit organization (remote management)
  • Accountable for performance management, talent development, succession planning and team engagement
  • Seek and implement opportunities across the countries
  • Monitor local credit policies and compliance to it
  • Manage risk indicators for the region
  • Target setting on counterparty risk KPI's
  • Customer account discussions and approvals
  • Risk mitigation set-up and monitoring, understanding contract law processes
  • Correctly identify the business need to establish the appropriate counterparty risk limit need
  • Define the required underwriting elements by customer segment
  • Assess risk mitigation tools used within the location and optimize
  • Set-up the appropriate approval cycles, monitor for required updates
  • Monitor collection strategies to ensure an actionable ageing
  • Expert on risk assessment and third level
  • Work with location leadership to identify how credit and risk can enable business
  • Pro-actively discuss with the location on appropriate risk appetite levels
  • Working capital management
  • Europe reporting per business with interpretation & analysis
  • Manage limits - consolidate reporting - partnership with FP&A
  • Optimize process efficiencies
  • The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics and / or Professional Accounting qualification
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a credit risk role including risk underwriting and risk mitigation set-up
  • International risk experience
  • Proven leadership skills and strong drive for high performance
  • Ability to lead various groups / projects
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously challenge, improve processes and procedures, innovate to meet requirements of ever changing environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to added value creation through understanding of customer requirements and support in team efforts of developing innovative customer solutions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under stress
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team
  • Very good English is a must
