will lead a team of 3 payroll specialists and be accountable for delivering the on time and accurate payroll for 1300 employees as well as the on time and accurate reporting to governmental departments whilst maintaining a world class controls environment.
This highly visible role will possess the ability to lead a team effectively while assessing the business needs and addressing the technical and functional requirements to perform the task.
Identification of process improvements within defined Shared Services standards is critical to mistake proofing the local payroll processes.
Other functions include :
Motivate team members by creating an environment that facilitates respect, teamwork and open communication.
Preparation of legal declarations, PIT forms, and ZUS settlement documentation
Drive issue ticket resolution with our payroll partner ADP
Manage, report and mistake proof escapes & turnbacks
Support of country legislation and local compliance
System upgrade coordination, testing and QA with our payroll partner ADP
Change Request management with our payroll partner ADP
Support regional / global initiatives; execution of process / continuous improvement
Support International Assignee population (hypo tax, data collection, etc.)
Oversee / Process stock transactions
Access reviews on a monthly / quarterly basis to ensure compliance
Participate in and / or lead internal / external audits
Project management where required
Expert knowledge of country and localized payroll legislation
5 years GlobalView / SAP payroll experience or 3 years GlobalView / SAP payroll experience Poland experience preferred

In-country equivalent payroll certifications / qualifications required
Bachelor’s degree preferred
