Responsibilities
Collaborate with the development teams to assure we deliver working software often and reliably
Designing, developing, executing, and maintaining our automated test suites, test frameworks and testing infrastructure
Mentoring and training others
Planning what to test and not to test using automation, what should be tested manually and what not at all
Continuously improve our practices and results
Developing your own skills and spreading them to others
Requirements
Several years of relevant experience, including mentoring others in programming, development, and test automation
Desire to learn even more
Desire to deliver value to our customers and users as a team
The wisdom to know when to write, when to speak and when to listen and desire to further develop this skill
Understanding that professionalism is not the absence of fun, and absence of fun is unprofessional
Ability to work as a team, collaboratively and respecting others
Skill and experince we value
BSc or MSc degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar technical degree
Experience in Unit level testing and Test-Driven Development
Experience in Backends and API testing
Working knowledge of Unix / Linux and ability to work with shell
Experience with performance and load testing of back-end services (e.g. JMeter)
Microservices architecture testing (e.g. contract tests, tool)
Experience with cloud computing and cloud storage infrastructures (AWS)
Good understanding of concepts and experience with Continuous Delivery
Experience with chaos engineering and security testing
You will be using tools like , JMeter, git, GitLab, and whatever suits us best. Experience in these is not mandatory but the desire and curiosity to learn is.
