Overview

Based in our EMEA Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Warsaw, the role is to work as part of a regional team to provide fundamental research and information services to consulting and Information Services staff using appropriate resources.

The IS Coordinator will work remotely for the people he / she supports and therefore, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong and successful working relationships without face-

to-face interaction is essential. This role requires interactions with managers and the team members across EMEA IS Cluster.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research for EMEA case teams, Practice Areas and client development utilizing research tools as assigned under the guidance of a Senior Information Services Specialist, Team Leader or Manager,
  • Provide filtered research results and meet request and project deadlines
  • Proactively work with IS Managers and team members to understand the context of the case and specific case information needs,
  • Solicit feedback from internal clients on performed research,
  • Track personal research requests including appropriate cost recovery information,
  • Participate in Information Services marketing efforts,
  • Participate in meetings with local and regional Information Services,
  • Proactively seek opportunities to broaden and deepen skill set by participating in special projects,
  • Provide ongoing support for basic asset-building activities including timely recording of request in ASK (request management tool)
  • Qualifications

  • A person with a higher education degree in Economics, Business, etc.,
  • Basic experience with business research preferred,
  • Fluent English and Italian are a must,
  • Very good MS Excel skills,
  • Someone with ability to learn new skills, databases and tools quickly,
  • Analysing abilities and problem-solving skills,
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a professional, customer-focused attitude,
  • Ability to work autonomously and make oneself available or arrange alternatives
  • A person who is efficient, accurate and committed to meeting deadlines with aptitude for practical and innovative problem solving with good attention to detail,
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral) with case teams and Consulting Support Services team,
  • Ability to clearly explain results of work and share knowledge with other team members,
  • Ability to seek feedback from case team and others under supervisor’s guidance,
  • Team player by demonstrating one team attitude,
  • Enthusiastic, dedicated, motivated in working with innovation tools.
