The Bain Capability Centre (BCC) plays a critical role in supporting Bain's case teams globally to help with analytics and research across all industries, for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property.
Based in our EMEA Shared Service Centre (SSC) in Warsaw, the role is to deliver codified consulting product output to consulting teams within the EMEA region, as part of the Bain Capability Network (BCN).
Specifically, the Analyst plays a team member role on BCN consulting product cases, managing allocated workstreams within a project independently with significant direction from a Project Leader.
Analysts take responsibility for completing the given analysis and provide useful input on related dimensions. They generate sound hypotheses and proactively help to focus on the most leveraged issues.
Analysts are generalists who work on projects across any geography or industry.
BCN Analysts will work remotely for the people they support and therefore, will require excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to forge strong and successful working relationships without face-to-face interaction.
BCN Analysts are expected to operate fluently in English at C2 level. In addition the same level is required in at least one other language of operation relevant in EMEA (German, French, Spanish).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Tasks and responsibilities listed below are potential areas of support. Each BCN Analyst will be asked to support a subset of consulting products and then broaden and / or deepen their knowledge over time.

2. Type of products and support - The list of BCN products will change and evolve over time. Initial list of products is :
Private Equity due diligence analysis : Support Bain case teams in putting together an investment thesis for a proposed deal through various repeatable products-
Market & Competitor Research :
Assess market growth opportunity and competitor profiling / benchmarking across various parameters (e.g. financial, product offerings, etc) using primary and secondary sources
Survey Analytics : Analyze customer survey results by building flexible and comprehensive Microsoft Excel model
Online and Social Media Scraping : Assess brand engagement across social media platforms and website by analyzing customer sentiment and traffi
Target Screening : Identify attractive targets from a long list of potential companies using various company databases
Procurement : Support Bain case teams on varied procurement work globally and be an advisory partner to case teams through the duration of the case
Spend cube creation Work in conjunction with Bain’s selected procurement analytics vendor partner
Spend analysis Create customized and insightful output from spend cube, including category analysis, BU / asset analysis, and vendor analysis
Category fact base and strategy Assess category / vendor market landscape and composition, growth opportunity and competitor profiling / benchmarking with a procurement lens (using primary and secondary sources)
Opportunity analysis - Generate initial hypotheses on potential saving opportunities and savings levers utilizing Bain IP and category fact bases
Ability to learn new tools and techniques quickly

Candidates should be a graduate from top-tier colleges with strong academic records and 1 to 2 years of relevant industry experience.
Should possess strong capabilities in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience in similar analytical roles may be an added advantage.
Candidates should possess excellent analytic skills, communication skills, team player skills with ability to multi task and work under pressure.
