Valeo Wiper Systems Plant in Skawina specializes in the design, manufacturing, painting and assembly of wiper blades, arms and mechanisms.
Additionally, in 2013 production of motors for wipers has begun. Plant’s main activity is supported by a modern research and development center which is currently employing about 100 staff members.

Job description :
Specify system requirements derived from customer requirements, including feasibility study for implementation and testability;
Lead functional and technical architecture of Wiper System using standardized electronic subsystems with justification of the choice;
Derive requirements for the subsystems (SW, HW, EMC, Functional Safety);
Ensure main customer interface in terms of requirements, technical issues and product definitione;
Support design reviews, internal and with customers;
Perform design specification;
Collaborate in the global requirements engineering team to develop global requirements strategies and solutions;
Develop concepts of new wiper functionalities and coordination of their adaptation to the selected architecture;
Execute assigned tasks on-time in compliance with A-SPICE and following supporting processes : Quality Assurance, Configuration Management, Change Management and Problem Solving.
Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Robotics
Automation or equivalent technical faculties);
At least 2-3 years of experience in the related field in Automotive, Engineering or
other relevant industry;
Knowledge and experience in the area of requirements management, process and tools (e.g. Rational DOORS, Polarion);
Knowledge and experience in the areas of embedded software development, preferably in the automotive environment, will be a plus;
Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO-26262) and Automotive SPICE will be an asset;
Curious, logical, willing to learn;
Fluent English; knowledge of German will be a plus.
