We are now looking for a proactive Sales Cluster Business Controller to undertake all business control duties that contribute to reaching the overall operational and financial goals for the respective Sales Cluster and Area.
Through fulfilling all the main responsibilities, this role will support the execution of key activities and ensuring performance according to expectation.
Key activities and responsibilities
Proactively provide period end reports and analysis. Manage capital and project expenditures / cost control. Partner with businesses by contributing in the management team.
Build strong relationships and network with key stakeholders. Continuously monitor performance and provide proactive ad-hoc analysis of current issues.
Provide recommendations & drive decision making. Develop financial perspective on operational issues. Support key business decision with fact-based analysis and simulation.
Drive performance management- structured way of identifying improvement potential, agree upon activities and follow-up result.
Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting. Business planning activities with different time horizons, including contingency planning scenarios.
Contribute to the networks in Business Control by sharing knowledge & good practices and support competence development.
Based in Middle Europe area, a flexible work and travel schedule is a pre-requisite for this role.
You have a university degree in Finance and / or Business Administration or equivalent extensive experience in a business, commercial or finance controlling position.
You possess an excellent understanding of financial processes, reporting, and accounting, extensive knowledge and skills pricing and profit management coupled with a well-developed business sense.
You will demonstrate high level presentation skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent time management and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Working with continuous improvements is a natural part of your character and you feel comfortable searching for information, identifying small and large solutions, and challenging the norm.
You have a well-developed ability to deliver results under pressure and balance multiple priorities with ease. You are flexible, react well to change, and remain calm in the face of challenges.
You are active and future oriented. Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required for this role.
You possess high integrity and self-motivation; knowledgeable and skilled in finance and profitability management. You have a well-developed business sense and judgement.

Ability to handle a high-volume workload and a flexible work and travel schedule. You understand what is needed to build and cultivate cross-functional teams.
