Currently to our famous Bakery Plant in Płońsk near Warsaw we are looking for an inspirational Quality Assurance Manager The jobholder will be an essential member of the Plant Leadership Team and will manage strong compliance with all legislative, regulatory, customer and internal corporate requirements to assure the safety of all semi-
finished and finished products whilst balancing the needs of production. This role, as the QM Pillar leader, will coordinate and prioritize Shop Floor Quality team activities in line with IL6S methodology in order to continuously improve our processes and create consistent vision of strong Quality Culture across the all level of organization.
Your main responsibilites :
Build and develop strong Quality culture and ownership on all the levels of factory team, in particular by non-direct management of Business Areas and Operators
Proactively develop and manage team performance by constant mentoring, coaching and performance management
Supervise the shop floor quality team, set priorities and direction to achieve quality and continuous improvement goals
Manage the communication and governance of the Quality agenda with upward escalation to Manufacturing Director or Corporate Quality Director
Control quality issues during production and of physic-chemical analysis, including possible problems or delays through RCA, in order to identify the root cause and avoid their reoccurence
Lead the control of manufacturing process through statistical process control in order to avoid or eliminate defects related to the production process that impacts the conversion cost
Manage compliance with Food Safety, Process Control and Quality Policies
Participate in maintenance and improvement of the Food Safety systems, through an active engagement in the HACCP team activities
Lead QA strategic plan by problems solving, benchmarking and seeking for opportunities for continuously improving quality standards
Evaluate and communicate risks, ensure accident investigation and report conditions or sub-standard behaviours in order to control and eliminate them
Ensure support for the maintenance of the ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, FSSC 22000 and eQCMS System through applying and communicating quality, food safety, security and environment policies
University degree in Foods, Microbiology, Chemical engineering, Industrial engineering or Food Technology
Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality assurance area, preferably in the food industry
Quality & food safety audit experience (HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 17025 and FSSC 22000)
Practical knowledge of local Quality systems, HACCP and GMP / sanitation requirements, knowledge of EU Food Safety regulations, policies and procedures
Good understanding of food processes, production technologies and Information Systems
Fluent Polish and English
Strong people management experience and true passion for developing direct reports and others
Exceptional idea leadership and change management skills
Experience of working in a high performing team work culture, embracing the essence of servant leadership and actively demonstrating a learn-do-teach approach
Very good communication skills together with the ability to effectively cooperate with various partners in the organization
