Acting as Purchasing Operations Consultant, you will you will be the first point of contact in Source to Pay activities. You will help other team members and contribute to close daily cooperation with VELUX Operations India (VOI).

Having sound business understanding of PtP process, Procurement part especially, Operational Buying knowledge, as well as being client oriented, will make you successful.

  • Providing support to end users with process and tool questions within the European operations of VELUX Group and support outsourced operations in India (VOI) in handling deviations from standard process flow
  • Supporting more senior team members as well as supporting Purchasing Operation Manager on operational tasks execution
  • Maintaining successful customer relations by acting as process-improvement and end-user-training initiator
  • Being first point of contact for any Indirect and Direct Purchase queries
  • Participating in local and global projects, implementation of process changes and system enhancements
  • Cooperating closely with the business in terms of vendor creation
  • Ensuring contract with vendors are complete and uploaded in dedicated tool (DocuSign)
  • Professional skills

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience working in Procurement operations / AP gained in SSC / BPO in a multinational environment
  • Strong presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience with both operations and processes within the area of S2P, Purchasing part
  • Experienced sharing your knowledge with colleagues and acting as a role model
  • Hands on experience in driving continuous improvements and obtained accounting qualifications are additional assets
  • Good knowledge of SAP transactions & Office 365 tools (Excel especially)
  • SRM / Ariba knowledge would be a strong asset
  • English proficiency required both oral and written
  • Personal skills
