Location : Central Poland

Contract : Full time,limited contract, 12 months

Medical ScienceLiaison will be responsible for providing scientific / medical support tointernal and external customers in response to clinical interest fromstakeholders.

Deliver the sharing of knowledge to internal stakeholders e.g.through provision of training to help to ensure highest standards of brand / therapyexpertise in customer facing teams.

Provide insights to the Polish MAF team andrespective CVT to help optimize brand / therapy medical strategy.

The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have :

Respondappropriately to unsolicited requests for information and / or data

Meet with customersand researchers on a regular basis through meetings, conference etc. to

Gather informationand insights on therapy area (inc. Competitor landscape) and their medical andscientific needs

Exchange diseasearea knowledge and opinions to understand the emerging opinions

Increase thecustomers understanding of Janssen products and processes (e.g. clinical data,IIS, clinical trials, compliance processes), according to their expressedinterests and needs and to seek their advice on the development of ourproducts.

Manage and maintainpositive relationship with Key Opinion Leaders.

Identify KeyOpinion Leaders and their areas of clinical / scientific expertise

To be thepoint of contact for investigators proposing investigator initiated studies(IIS) and manage such studies in collaboration with GCO

Develop educationalitems (e.g. presentations) and deliver training for the business e.g. newstarters, on an ongoing basis

Meet with theGlobal Trial Managers within Global Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs asrequired to

Provide all relevant information from potentialinvestigators on IIS studies

Discuss the status of company studies and IISs to identifynew opportunities for collaboration with HCPs

  • Address any issues with ongoing studies
  • Share best practices
  • Understand emerging data and publications from the studiesand how this might support stakeholder needs (also network with EMEA ScientificKnowledge Management)

    Assist GCO with the identification of, and communicationwith, potential trial sites and investigators for company-sponsored trials

    Work closely withthe relevant Medical Manager to develop ideas and content for medical educationevents and review such content

    Maintain awarenessof all relevant local country specific differences, for example applicabilityof the EFPIA Code of Practice in Poland and the potential impact thesedifferences may have on marketing a product, performing a clinical trial inPoland or holding an educational event there.

    Assist line managerwith other general medical affairs and medical education projects asappropriate

    Consultto the Sales teams for example by helping them to manage individual issues theymay be facing, as well as by enhancing their understanding and application ofcompany processes (e.g.. Med.Ed. process).

    Actively engagewith all internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with thenecessary Codes of Practice and Laws governing the promotion and sale ofmedicines within Poland

    Review of materials submitted for copy (medical / legal)approval as per the locally agreed process

    Conduct literaturesearches, analyze clinical papers, attend conferences, courses and other suchevents to be aware of the latest scientific and clinical advances in relevanttherapy areas.

    Attend courses andindustry meetings, read industry publications and discuss therapy area withcolleagues to keep up to date with developments within the pharmaceutical industryand pharmaceutical medicine.

    Monitor competitorpromotional and scientific activities to understand their ongoing strategies,as well as to assess their compliance with the Code of Practice.


    We would love to hear from YOU, if you have :

    University / Bachelors Degree orEquivalent in Medical Science (M.D.), Pharmacology, Veterinary Medicine, NatureScience

  • 2-4) years of related experience
  • Good English knowledge in speaking,reading and writing

  • Driving license type B
  • Team worker with good communicationand negotiation skills
