You and your team
The Environment, Health, Safety & Sustainability specialist will establish and maintain global programs and initiatives to assist Refinitiv in promoting positive change with regards to our sustainability targets.
The successful candidate will implement programs to meet or exceed local relevant regulatory requirements. The individual will provide technical expertise in multiple EHS&S fields and serve as an effective member of cross-functional project teams by providing mentorship on EHS&S matters in design, risk assessment and incident investigation.
Some of the daily tasks you will perform :
Assist in the delivery of Refinitiv Environmental and Sustainability targets
Establish and maintain global environmental and sustainability initiatives
Respond to client RFP questionnaires
Accurate and timely reporting of all environment, sustainability and other performance data as required
Demonstrate compliance with environmental regulations
Supervise the monitoring of performance and achievement against targets and benchmarks on a rolling basis.
Take ownership for achievement of technical best practice
Support Facilities, Real Estate, Design and Construction and Security projects as required.
Ensuring compliance with H&S legislation.
Investigating accidents and near misses
Delivering required H&S training
Conducting site H&S inspections and audits
Ensuring appropriate communication to maintain staff awareness on H&S and reinforcing a positive culture.
Actively supporting the Director of EH&S in the promotion and delivery of the Health and Safety Management system globally.
Assisting Security and Business Continuity Management (BCM) teams to respond to emergencies by providing specialist advice and assistance on all aspects of H&S.
Any other EHS&S duties as assigned.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING?
The individual must be a qualified sustainability or environmental specialist in engineering and / or sustainability disciplines (BS / BEng) or other related fields.
Qualification at least of health and safety technician valid in Poland.
Experience in a corporate environment, with a solid track record and at least 5 years’ experience.
Proficient English and Polish.
Knowledge of H&S acquired through education, training and experience.
Good digital literacy and Microsoft office skills.
Ability to work using own initiative and eager to work in an international environment.
Ability to travel to other Refinitiv locations as required.
