  • Provide day-to-day support of the Moody's system addressing any issues and resolving defects in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Prudential Risk Management and Market Risk Management teams to help define and document new requirements / enhancements
  • Have some basic familiarity around BASEL III regulation and appreciate the components which make up
  • Develop requirements into technical solutions using a mixture Moody's Risk Authority (RAY) application, Oracle database (12c) and Control-M technologies
  • Carry out testing running end of day processing in Moody's Risk Authority to produce regulatory reports and work closely with end users in interpreting and validating test results
  • Ensure development is carried out using best practice techniques ensuring optimisation, throughput, scale and efficiency have been factored in the design of the build
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders in terms of progress and status of issues
  • Work with Oracle support, raising Moody's support cases or SR's on MOS and provide any supporting information required such as diagnostics
  • Work on improving the technological platform through continual improvement
  • Ensure change is compliant with strict change control policies and system changes are subjected to rigorous testing
  • Communicate with wider technology teams to ensure fixes or enhancements are executed in a controlled and co-ordinated manner
  • Have worked in a regulatory reporting team, either in day-to-day support or a project team
  • Extensively worked with database management systems such as Oracle and be considered an expert in this field
  • A strong understanding of database languages including SQL*Plus & PL / SQL
  • Ideally have experience with working on Moody's RAY, Control-M or similar regulatory reporting systems
  • Strong experience working with interfaces and have a good appreciation of ETL techniques and reporting technologies
  • Have been involved with project implementations with a solid understanding of the project life cycle and different implementation techniques
  • Pay great attention to detail and be client driven with a focus on delivery and milestones
  • Have exceptional communication skills, being able to converse with a wide variety of stakeholders including department heads
  • Must have

    Oracle, PL / SQL, Control-M, SQL Plus, ETL, Basel Capital Accord >
