More about us https : / / www.eaton.com Oracle Make Functional Lead Analyst The Oracle Make Functional Lead Analyst will be responsible for leading the solution design, model, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Demand to Build, Supply Chain Planning, and Enterprise Asset Management functional process solutions to meet desired business requirements.

The role is responsible for the continued enhancement and support of Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Advanced Supply Chain Planning, and Maintenance Applications across the global enterprise and acting as a trusted advisor to the Eaton businesses through the effective application of functional thought leadership.

Participate in implementations and third level support as required. Additionally, the Specialist will work across all Enterprise IT teams at all levels of the organization, from staff to senior leadership, to track projects, enhancement requests, manage reporting, training needs, ensuring compliance with development standards, data migration, assess impact, and coordinate and conduct testing.

Ability to understand and drive global solutions and implement controls that are fully auditable and compliant with business and control standards.

This position will provide proactive guidance for solution design with internal and external systems to facilitate maximum utilization of the global business applications. Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for in-depth functional & business process knowledge of Oracle EBS and integrated Boundary Systems
  • Works as a functional leader to other team members, leading functional workstreams on mid to large scale implementations and upgrades.
  • Works with cross-functional modules, applying proven standards and techniques, developing new techniques, and designing and configuring complex solutions.
  • Ability to fully understand the interrelationship to other modules.

  • Manage requirements scope & disposition through process compliance & gap analysis, integration testing & user acceptance methodology.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills to critically evaluate the information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a more general understanding, distinguish presented user requests from the underlying true needs, and distinguish solution ideas from requirements.
  • Work in partnership with divisional and global business process owners on system requirements, processes, and applications.
  • Work with the Solution Design & Governance team to ensure proposed solutions are in-line with global solutions.
  • Interact with senior level leaders at divisional or regional level to explain complex system issues and decision points using common business language (without using IT terms and language).
  • Qualifications What we are looking for : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Business Administration Solid understanding of ERP Implementations and Operations with particular expertise in Oracle Inventory, Warehouse Management, Item Configurator, Items / BOMs / Routing, Kitting, Cycle Count, EAM (Maintenance), Quality Control, and Scrap.

  • Experience with VCP / ASCP strongly preferred. Minimum 7 years relevant experience with Oracle 11i, R12, or Cloud. Strong level of understanding of manufacturing, maintenance, and planning business processes;
  • strong level of Oracle EBS 11i and R12 expertise gathered through numerous full-life cycle projects. Experienced knowledge of applications' technical capabilities.

    Strong knowledge of functional and technical capability including understanding of the core programming and database. Strong understanding of integration and impact points (boundary systems) of involved systems globally.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of IT and business including executive leadership.
