Job Description

Financial Analyst based in Wroclaw, Poland will report to the Senior Manager Operations Finance. This position will work closely with the Operations and Supply Chain team to provide any financial and business partnership necessary to drive and achieve BD financial savings targets.

The right person will be an active and integral member of the Operations Finance team, which includes attending regular meetings, providing advice and support to Operations, providing financial management and analytical support, and establishing yourself as a trusted business partner.

Important will be for that person to track Recode- internal BD project- expenses and savings, assist in the preparation of forecasts and budgets for Integrated Supply Chain and Operations Finance initiatives and provide timely and accurate data at the project level on a regular basis.

Apart from that, this person will be responsible for :

Improving existing procedures according to lean methodologies and implement automation.

Acting as a contact point between the US and European region related to Operations and Supply Chain synergy initiatives.

Problem solving in an ambiguous environment and maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.

Other additional duties as needed.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in financial analysis and reporting required and a BA Degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred).

Additionally, will have a great understanding of operating results (sales, gross profit, inventory, headcount, supply chain, and OPEX) and how synergy initiatives will impact these items and ability to effectively interact with individuals at various organizational levels, as well as international locations.

Fluent English is a must.

Ideal qualities include :

Working knowledge of SAP, HFM, BPC, and other ERP systems desirable.

Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, team environment.

Track record of increasing responsibilities.

High degree of organization skills and attention to detail.

Curiosity and the desire to learn about BD’s products, business units, locations, and manufacturing capabilities.

Willingness to travel up to 10% both domestically and internationally (once able.)
