InvestorServices Department

TheHedgeServ Investor Services department has an established global presence, withoperations located in the Cayman Islands, Ireland, Poland, and USA.

Through thecompany's continued growth, the team is seeking candidatesto expand our operations in Poland. The team currently services a mix ofprivate equity, hedge funds and hybrid structures.

Using our proprietarytechnology, clients and investors experience an interactive, end to end,industry leading service. The team works with its clients and investors tointroduce new technology solutions to continuously meet the demands of anever-changing industry to support unique client structures and operatingmodels.


AnInvestor Services Manager is an integral part of the Investor Servicesdepartment ensuring that the highest quality of service is delivered to bothclients and investors.

Working with the Director and Managing Director, youwill be responsible for the continued growth and management of the department.

KeyAccountabilities of the Role

Operational :

  • Day today delivery of all TA Services to the client for multiple teams
  • Maintainclient service levels, for dedicated clients, by ensuring timely and accuratedelivery of information and reporting
  • Providesecond level of escalation for clients
  • Reviewand approve investor transactions, as required, on HedgeInvestor® (HedgeServ's proprietary Investor Services System)
  • Reviewand approve AML / KYC, FATCA / CRS documentation, as required, provided byinvestors and follow-up where necessary.
  • Escalate to Director and MLRO whererequired

  • Ensureany issues, errors or complaints are escalated accordingly, and that adequatesteps are taken to resolve issues and prevent future occurrences.
  • Review anddiscuss with the Director any issues that require escalation

  • Ensurethat policies and procedures are adhered to daily and have thisevidenced.
  • Reviewand reorganize functional tasks for maximum efficiency
  • Followup and escalation of inquiries that remain unresolved outside of agreed ServiceLevel Agreement's
  • Proactivelywork with the Operational teams to ensure that issues are being resolved andhigh standards are being maintained
  • Participate / lead client due diligence visits
  • Workwith internal departments to evaluate and implement changes in proposed newregulations and ensure that all current requirements are met
  • Performtrend analysis, resolve exceptions, document issues and resolutions andcommunicate and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
  • Manageprojects for clients, as required.
  • Provideleadership and guidance to staff, fostering an environment which encouragesemployee participation, teamwork, and communication and overall excellentclient servicing
  • StaffSupervision :

  • Conductannual performance appraisals and provide regular feedback based on goals fordirect reports
  • Participatein the interview and selection process for job applicants whereappropriate
  • Organizeand perform training of staff and client specific requirements as well as crosstraining to develop depth and breadth of knowledge
  • Ensureadequate staffing levels are in place, to meet both daily and future businessrequirements
  • Providementoring, assistance, guidance and support to Supervisors and otherstaff
  • Ensureregular team meetings are held and that views and feedback are encouraged andsought from all attendees
  • Minimizeovertime by implementing additional efficiencies as automationprojects
  • Education : Accounting, Finance, Legal or Business Degree - Completed bachelor's degreerequired.

    Experience : A minimum of 6 years' experience working in a hedge fund administration firmwith a minimum requirement of 1 years' experience working as an AssistantManager.

    Skills :

  • Priorexperience in a client-focused role gained in the financial servicessector
  • Operationalexperience in a Transfer Agency role is required
  • Peoplemanagement and change management skills desirable
  • Trackrecord of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Effectiveverbal reasoning and numeric skills required
  • Abilityto work under pressure meeting challenging deadlines
  • Planningand organization skills
  • Flexibleapproach to work
  • Abilityto review and resolve complex issues in a timely manner
