  • The purpose of this role is to plan the supply from external resource in the most efficient way to ensure desired service and inventory level.

    You will perform demand check and capacity alignment, maintain accurate planning parameters in the system and agree an optimal, achievable supply plan for execution.

    You will focus on the External Supply network, managing order book with CMO partner. This is a global role and will require interaction with networks in Europe, Asia, and other markets, dependent on requirements of the business.

    This opportunity will give the successful candidate the opportunity to partake in full, end to end supply chain processes within a large, global organisation.

    You will be a key player in delivering top, international brands, working internationally to support both internal and external customers worldwide.

    This will include management of a whole range of stakeholders, offering exposure to colleagues at all levels of the organisation.

    Responsibilities :

  • Develop an optimal, achievable supply plan for a SKU subset, aligned to a manufacturing resource, or group of resources, for the full planning horizon, offering clear differentiation of work centre important and criticality for business vs. peers.
  • Leads the handover of the supply requirement to Site Production execution and Scheduling.
  • Manage the order book to the point of sale (ex-GSK) liaising with the therapy product Managers to gather regional intelligence to support decisions on supply plan priorities.
  • Validate net requirements for site with the Therapy Supply Chain Managers and escalate any issues to the Global SC Planning Lead
  • Provides input to build the Supply Review Meeting (SRM) as part of the Core Commercial Cycle and deputised for the Planning Lead during the SRM as a chair and facilitator.
  • Maintain accurate supply planning parameters in the ERP system, through all supply nodes, in line with the inventory and service policies, accountable for updating the FRS.
  • Regularly review demonstrated performance against SC design.

  • Evaluate supply planning performance and trends for its SKU subset and supports the Global SC Planning Lead and investigates the root cause of issues of KPIs deviations and recommends actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Provides periodic static data extraction and validation for integrity and consistency; ensures data updated in relevant supply chain systems;
  • provides KPI measures around data integrity and accuracy.

  • Provides standard reporting for therapy and dynamic reporting across categories / structures; links to site-based teams for local MRP data and BSSS teams for additional reporting / analysis.
  • Execute and demonstrated full accountability in delivering inventory optimisation activities with the Global SC Planning Lead and Therapy Supply Chain Managers.

    Basic Qualifications :

    We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :

  • Demonstrable experience in complicated business analytics
  • Experience of supply planning in a pharmaceutical or FMCG environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply planning processes operating over 0-24-month horizon including rough cut capacity planning and inventory management.
  • Experienced in the use of SAP APO for supply planning including data parameterization to drive planning outcomes.
  • Advanced level Excel skills required
  • Preferred Qualifications :

    If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :

  • Experienced in the use of SAP Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration Solution and working closely with a Third-Party Supply Chain
  • Degree qualified in a Supply Chain or Logistics related field
  • Additional relevant qualifications advantageous, such as APICS certification
  • Specific experience in the pharmaceutical industry a plus
  • Experience or training in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma etc.)
  • Additional language skills as a plus
