Daily activities

Our tribeis responsible for L1 architecture definition, specifications, algorithmdevelopment, and simulations. It assumes a close interaction with L1 and SoCdevelopment units.

We arelooking for a technical expert experienced in physical layer algorithmdevelopment to join our team responsible for L1 reference model of 4G / 5G Nokiaproducts.

We provide an opportunity to join the global expert community andstart contributing to Nokia success by delivering best-in-class algorithms forSW / HW implementation.

  • Algorithm development for4G / 5G physical layer and specification
  • Simulations and link-levelperformance evaluation
  • Maintenance of thereference model
  • Interaction withdevelopment units, specification and system design colleagues
  • We work with :

  • Our expectations :

  • Experience in physical layeralgorithm development
  • Strong background incommunication theory and signal processing
  • Matlab proficiency
  • Good analytical andtroubleshooting skills
  • Good understanding ofrelevant 3GPP specifications (36 and 38 series)
  • Fluent verbal communicationand writing skills in the English language
  • Good teamwork skills,ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Master or above(preferred), major in telecommunications, electronic engineering, computerscience, or related
  • Preferred skills
  • Experience in 3GPPRAN1 / RAN4 standardization
  • Experience in L1 SW / HWdevelopment
  • Experience in specificationand system design
  • C / C++ / Python
