Senior Principal Equipment Manager
Location Siewierz, Poland
Reporting to : Technical Manager
Principal Accountabilities :
Act as the Technical Authority for High Pressure Equipment. This team exciting gets to guide the company in the selection of guards, valves, cylinders, hoses, and other equipment.
Resolve equipment and technical problems for the supply chain organisations. You get the opportunity to become the detective in the investigations to ensure similar issues do not arise again.
Establish and follow-up on productivity and standardisation programmes for Package Gases Equipment, such that a consistent, safe and low cost approach is maintained.
You can make a large and lasting input into the Air Products global plan. In the past, it includes extending the life of equipment.
To produce and update specifications, standards, procedures and technical bulletins for equipment.
Technology (R&D) Projects : Participate in new development work and support field trials. Lead the introduction of new offerings into the supply chain.
Run a small team of technical specialists to achieve the results required by the business while maintaining safety as always the highest priority.
You will have :
A degree or equivalent in Material Science Engineering / Chemical / Mechanical Engineering. Strong technical knowledge is required.
Strong social skills to work within the team (as a team), with the clusters, other regions, and suppliers.
The ability to challenge existing practices and be innovative in problem solving.
Familiarity with IT and PC applications and be competent in the use and applications of PCs.
English language required, additional will be plus
A flexible attitude and be willing to travel 20% of time
