On an on going basis, we are looking for talented individual to join our GL Team! Job location : Poznań (European Business Shared Service Center) Purpose of the role :

This role undertakes activities for a country finance organization focused on month-end closing, standardized financial reporting and analysis.

Is a point of contact to calculate & process journal entries, prepare manual invoices, process fixed asset transactions, perform Balance Sheet reconciliations and ensure elimination of intercompany transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Country Accounting Teams or other Functions in monthly accounting activities
  • Perform accounting activities of assigned areas including :
  • understanding, calculating and processing all necessary journal entries and manual invoices
  • month end closing activities according to internal financial procedures
  • intercompany reconciliations and differences investigation in order to ensure elimination of intercompany transactions
  • inventory accounting (including Subject Matter Expert group participation)
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Develop and execute Metrics Reporting to the Country Accounting Teams as deemed appropriate
  • Support HFM reporting activities for countries
  • Ensure that all internal control framework requirements are fulfilled for assigned areas
  • Support audit or other regulatory requests by providing requested documentation & analysis of assigned areas
  • Other reasonable tasks / projects as assigned including supporting projects of other team members as requested
  • Ensure operational excellence by executing all tasks with open & transparent communication, providing high quality documentation / deliverables & ensuring appropriate time management
  • Experience and Education

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in SSC / BPO or Accounting
  • University Degree in Finance & / or Accounting
  • Required skills

  • General Accounting knowledge
  • Proficient in English; Italian language is a plus
  • Highly developed communication skills
  • IT skills

  • Excel proficiency (VBA experience is a plus)
  • SAP knowledge is a plus
