For our Client, well known SSC company on a globalmarket, we are looking for candidates for the position of : Senior GLAccountant with German

You will be responsible for variousoperational F&A activities within General Ledger area in our Client’sRegional Shared Services Center office.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Period End Close coordination for Germanlegal entities,
  • Coordination accounting process for GL, inventory,cash flow and fixed assets,
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliation anddaily accounting transactions,
  • Perform Fixed Assets related transactions(additions, scrapping, write-offs, transfers etc.)
  • Reconciliation Intercompany transaction, BalanceSheet accounts and a monthly basis, Cash flow data,
  • Initiate and lead continuous improvementprocess,
  • Preparation of Statutory FinancialStatements,
  • Participation in knowledge transfer from Germanlegal entities,
  • Execute accounting guidelines received from theGlobal Office and the IFRS Competence Centre,
  • Execute internal controls and ensure compliance ofactivities in scope with the Controls,
  • Ensure operational and design effectiveness of thecontrols over financial reporting within areas ofresponsibility.
  • Requirements :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience on asimilar position, preferably in SSC / BPO environment,
  • Fluent German (minimum B2 / C1),
  • Good knowledge of English (minimum B2),
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving andcommunication skills,
  • Strong background in accounting andreporting,
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship buildingskills,
  • Service minded with a pro-activeattitude,
  • Ability to achieve results through influencing andmotivating others.
