Risk Systems Support (RSS) is a Global Production Assurance team which stands as a One Stop Shop for ICG & CCB users to escalate Training Queries, Exposure Investigations, Data Quality Investigations, Reports / Data Requests, Business Admin activities or Technology Issues for Credit Risk and Operational Risk applications.
RSS Team comprehends Citi credit processes and Risk Systems, which enable the team to provide accurate, quality, and timely responses.
Team provides global coverage through 3 regional teams located in EMEA, Asia and America.
Analytical skills and a broad understanding of Trading Book products are required as Data Quality investigations are complex and involve different systems, together with specific exposure calculations and report population logics.
User support - ensure a high level of support is provided to the users of the risk systems globally
Provide information by answering questions and requests as they come across the helpdesk via email or phone. Determine, and advise the cause of the problems that affect day-
to-day functionality of the systems. Where possible propose creative solutions or workarounds.
Investigate data quality issues raised by users, tracing and solving rejection of trades, stale MTMs, missing pricings, addressing reconciliation queries on the Risk side.
Provide ad hoc / informal user training by identifying users requiring assistance with risk systems.
Ensure that enquiries to the helpdesk are responded to and resolved within the timeframes
Escalate of unresolved queries related to data integrity issues and data requests
Prevent recurrence of database and user problems by analyzing problem management records (FAQs / knowledge base). Update the knowledge base when issues are identified which need to be documented for future reference
Manage updates to the global Risk Systems Support Website
Maintenance and periodic review of process documentation
Work closely with the other regional support teams to ensure knowledge sharing and transfer of best practices
Over 2 years of experience in the business, preferably in Credit Administration Area or Business Support
Understanding of counterparty credit risk and high level overview of market risk methodology
Familiarized with derivative products i.e. Spots, Forwards, Options, IRS.
Private Investments on FX market would be an asset.
