The web development team is responsible for all Ingersoll Rand website : its development, content management, and web positioning.
It includes Web developers, SEO / SEM specialists, content writers, graphic designers. The team manages more than 30 websites that are run on the common CMS platform.
As the company acquires new brands, one of the goals of the team is to incorporate new brands into the system.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for producing, modifying, and maintaining a suite of top-end interactive websites and web applications that deliver Ingersoll Rand's products and messaging to a global audience, providing pixel-perfect experiences that reflect the commitment to quality.
You will work closely with designers using semantic mark-up language (HMTL / CSS / JS). Your role will be key to the success of Ingersoll Rand’s sites, demonstrating focus on quality and efficiency to site visitors through the performance of websites.
As a part of the Web Development team, you will provide first-class solutions to many different parts of Ingersoll Rand’s business.
Delivering global and regional projects you will be required to work effectively within a global, multi-lingual team; and be accountable for your deliverables and contribution to projects.
Requirements
We require a Mid-level or Senior Web Front End Developer with at least 2-5 years of commercial experience.
Demonstrate flair and innovative skills in programming designs that are compatible with all devices and work efficiently and flawlessly on all platforms.
Able to turn designs into working templates, using minimal efficient code and ensuring that what is delivered to the visitor is clean and efficient.
Focused on mobile users and able to take each template or site you work with and ensure the experience on smaller screens is exceptional simple and logical.
Usability testing on such devices is important and your expertise in this area is critical.
Strong knowledge and experience in HTML & CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, BootStrap, Serverless Web Development, CDN, Progressive web apps (PWA), Responsive and Mobile Design, Cross-Browser Development, Testing, Unit tests, Integration tests, End-to-end test and Debugging, Clean Code, Git
Knowledge of JS Frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, or Angular will be an additional advantage
