Security and Loss Prevention Manager

Security and Loss Prevention
The Security and Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for all aspects of physical security processes and controls in their site and will also drive the implementation and maintenance of a data driven strategy to reduce and maintain losses within the Group’s fulfilment & production centres.
You will be working to create a strong culture of loss prevention and mitigation across the site. This will include creation of specific internal procedures and delivering all standard group operating procedures.
Additional areas of responsibilities include :
You will be accountable for each area of loss across your relevant area of responsibility
Engaging with and influencing key stakeholders within the fulfilment centres to build and maintain a strong operational culture around Security & Loss Prevention
Implementation and maintenance of all relevant group standard Security & Loss Prevention Operating Procedures
The ability to provide specific guidance, coaching and training to employees across all levels on Loss Prevention techniques
Effectively work and collaborate with all other functions within the Security & Loss Prevention department and broader business functions
Accountability for all operational security functions within your area of responsibility
The creation and implementation of strategic processes to reduce losses across the fulfilment centres / production sites
The strategic implementation and use of security and loss prevention related technology within the fulfilment centres / production sites
The management and supervision of the THG Loss Prevention Specialists
The investigation and resolution of all loss prevention and security related incidents
Management, support, reporting and effective follow up of all onsite security and loss prevention incidents
Brief and advise Senior Management on all security & loss prevention matters
Ensuring the continuous security and protection of the fulfilment centres / production sites
Manage all aspects of visitor access into the fulfilment centres
Providing weekly, detailed reports to the Senior and Regional Loss Prevention Managers
Role Requirements
Experience working in Security and Loss Prevention in a warehousing environment
Experience managing a small team
Ability to interpret and analyse data, identifying loss patterns & emerging risks and use this information to formulate clear documentation and actions to reduce losses and mitigate risks
Results driven approach, providing assurance that loss / shrinkage within the site is minimised in line with business standards
Capability to build rapport with key stakeholders and engage and influence at all levels across the business and support with 3rd party supplier management
Pro-active approach in the investigation and resolution of security incidents
Self-awareness and ability to continuously review performance and ability, seeking additional ways to improve
Strong knowledge of security technologies and ability to support in all areas of responsibilities
Leader that can be a role model for the Loss Prevention department, demonstrating THG’s core values, behaviours and competencies
Capable of providing support to both the Senior and Regional Loss Prevention Managers when required
Ability to identify and suggest improvements to processes
Flexible attitude
