The Risk Division protects the bank's strategic directives by establishing a strong control environment for our risks. Reputational Risk Management seeks to protect the Bank from engaging in actions or transactions which pose an unacceptable level of reputational risk.
The responsibility of Reputational Risk Management is to review reputational risks identified, appraise materiality and reject proposals that pose a material high risk the Bank’s reputation.
Reputational Risk Management is a uniquely qualitative risk management discipline with often highly subjective outcomes.
You will support the Reputational Risk Team and will have the following set of responsibilities :
Co-ordination of Reputational Risk Review Process (RRRP) Condition Monitoring, Reporting and Sample-based testing.
Co-ordination of pre-RRRP enquiries logging, tracking and reporting.
Assistance with preparing EMEA briefing / information to be presented at the newly formed Global Focus Client Committee (GFCC).
Responsibility for running regular and ad-hoc reporting for ExB and other senior forums.
Assistance with the quarterly assessment of the Rep Risk Compliance attestation framework.
Responsibility for managing the EMEA Reputational Risk Committee (RRC) administration tasks including scheduling meetings, compiling materials, running background news checks, taking minutes.
Co-ordination of post RRC governance related tasks including the tracking of decisions, actions points, and minutes co-ordination.
Investigation of potential breaches of the Rep Risk Policy and provide accompanying briefings to the Reputational Risk Approvers.
Ad-hoc assistance to the team and RRAs with respect to background screening, negative news searches and RRRP Tool support.

You will have an undergraduate degree level education or equivalent work experience
You will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in a Risk or Control focused role within the Financial Services Industry
Knowledge of various Investment Banking / Global Markets products
Experience engaging across departments and levels including exposure to senior management
The person will have strong analytical, attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Challenging and inquisitive mind-set
Highly organised and self-motivated individual, able to learn quickly and work independently
Interest and knowledge of capital markets and emerging markets
Preferably have experience in a risk management environment
Ability to prioritise and deliver results in a time pressured environment
