Product Manager - Patisserie
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate for this key function will be responsible for creating a portfolio of patisserie products while implementing innovations along with working on different product strategies.
Conduct / brief market research, choose right methodologies (qualitative and quantitative) and interpret outcome
Transform data, trends & insights into concepts, actions and business opportunities & solutions
Understand competitive environment & define market shares based on accurate data
Use and integrate the available tools and external databases in product and customer management
Demonstrate theoretical and practical knowledge about the Puratos products
Define and implement product strategy per market & per channel and define clear product positioning
Manage product life cycle and portfolio and define need for renovation and innovation
Optimize the profitability of the product range
Define the strategic / Value-based and tactical pricing policy
Manage sales performance and define common action plan to support growth by providing product and concepts trainings
Drive innovation pipeline and develop innovations (product, solutions, services), prioritize based on the full business case
Build and implement launch plan per channel, follow-up and implement corrective actions
Identify relevant consumer and customer insights and market trends and translate into innovations
Co-create products, solutions, services with partners (customers, suppliers, consumers, )
Be an active team member within the Business Development Team (Sales Marketing R&D), in line with the Puratos Values & Principles.
Work closely with Sales Team, Technical Advisors and R&D Team to achieve strong results together.
Develop and straighten relationships with clients by providing them with excellent product knowledge as well as customer insights and market trends
Influence the Customer Journey and continuously improve our Customer’s experiences
Develop an (external and internal) communication strategy & action plan
Acquire product knowledge by participating in product trainings.
Regularly update your knowledge through self-study and going through the provided training material and other documents.
Completed studies with focus on marketing / product management
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in product management, ideally in food sector
Practical knowledge of product development and innovations strategies
Business fluent spoken and written English

Strong communication skills especially in such areas like presentation
