The Function is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining processes and systems for Accounts Receivables as well as policies globally.
Coordinate implementation of standardization initiatives, productivity improvements, best practices. Build strong relationships with Local Markets and local stakeholders.
This role reports to AR Global Process Owner (GPO).
Work closely with the OTC GPO to design and implement solutions for the AR processes based on Wella Global Process Design.
Work with Local Markets; Identify and recommend improvement towards more automated processes.
Align with Global processes and Ways of Working; Align with GPO on proposals or exceptions and deviations from Global Process Design.
Align with IT on tools & systems requirements, mapping of As Is and support design of To Be IT landscape for SSC.
Ensure Internal Control rigor and Segregation of Duties principles are in place.
Front facing the Local market Subject Matter Expert; driving and influencing the process decisions and action items required to achieve the deliverables on time & with quality.
Support local operations in driving excellence.
Support execution of projects, collateral, and new IP creation.
Participate in knowledge management initiatives within the team and liaise with GPOs to share best practices.
A minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Account Receivable area.
Solid accounting knowledge or Account Receivable process knowledge.
A Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken required.
Strong logical thinker, creative, with good attention to details.
Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving.
Ability to work across cultures with all levels of organization as well as with different functions.
MS Office (Excel advanced), SAP.
Previous experience in an SSC is welcome.
Additional accounting courses would be a plus.
Working knowledge of any of the following languages would be a plus : French, German, Spanish, Italian.
