The SAP PI and Integration Solution Architect is responsible for conducting very complex and thorough research of existing processes, systems, systems logic, hardware deployment and desired objectives to develop detailed systems specifications to meet the needs of the assigned client group and their projects under development.
This position examines existing manual and automated processes, documentation and training requirements, and the capacities and limitations of existing, or proposed hardware in order to develop comprehensive specifications in a formal and structured way.
Implements activities that generally impact important components / processes of the work of own unit / team / projects.
role profile overview for Solution Architect
Design the technical solution that will deliver both the desired business outcome and alignment with architecture published by Enterprise Architecture function.
Meet quality requirements, technical constraints, and performance requirements.
Oversee the quality of output arising from solution build and are responsible for acceptance of the technical integrity and architectural compliance of the solution.
Participates in SAP related projects (releases and / or rollouts) and conducts requirement gathering, fit / gap analysis, CRPs, training, functional specification, testing, configuration, data conversion and solution governance
Performs L3 support for live countries
Ensures solution consistency and assists in facilitating the change leadership interventions within functional area and contributes to the Design Authority process by assessing impact of the new requests on the core solution
Focus on continuous improvement, keeping up with industry and proactively advising the business of new capabilities that can help them support the company growth and strategy

Masters degree in business management and / or information technology fields preferred.
licenses / certifications
Experience in a full cycle of an ERP implementation based on a core solution and multi-country deployment
Experience with SAP PI - Process Integration-L3
SAP PO BPM / BRM-L3
Experience in information systems, applications including SAP (SD, MM, WM, PP, and FI / CO), and project management, preferably in regulated life science industry.
Experience with PI, FTP, other integration technologies required. Any functional module and EDI preferred
Functional knowledge within functional area of SAP ECC6 EHP-7 or later a must, experience of HANA preferred.
Experience in other functional areas is a plus.
Experience in governing cross-functional solutions and ability to manage processes end-to-end
Experience in a regulated industry and / or medical device company preferred
7 years of SAP experience in an international environment.
Experience working with geographically distributed virtual teams.
Ability to manage relationship with external vendors
