We are currently looking to attract a Patient Service Assistant in Gdynia.

The Patient Service Assistant is the first-line contact for patients therefor the main purpose is to provide best practices and highest standards for patients’ engagement at the site.

Role Responsibility

Key roles and responsibilities of the Patient Service Assistant are :

  • Perform professional direct contact with patients and visitors (welcoming, information, appointments planning, patient guidance, gathering and confirming data, maintaining health documentation, etc)
  • Perform professional indirect / telephone contact with patients and visitors (accepting / execute the calls : welcoming, information, appointments planning, gathering data, etc)
  • Promote Synexus through effective communication
  • Accurate data entry and visits completion in Synergy & Cognos
  • Proper booking of different types of visits, external appointments, taxi, etc
  • Telephone contacts with patients to remind / confirm visits
  • Prepare properly patient documentation for visits
  • Collect and review patient notes, lab results and questionnaires
  • Perform quality control as described in the relevant Synexus procedure and as applicable to the role
  • Ability to use own initiative, work independently and as part of a team
  • Ensure individual development and continual service improvement
  • Ensure that the diary management system is accurate and up to date at all times
  • Ensure safe and clean reception environment for all visitors
  • Responsible for photocopying, faxing, postal activities, patient refreshments
  • Follow up GP and other services to gather patient information
  • Work to SOP / COPs and GCP guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

    To be considered for this exciting, challenging opportunity you will need the following skills and experience :

  • Have an understanding and interest in patient care and service
  • Ability to work to time lines and follow instructions
  • Working knowledge of English is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with peers
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills
  • Appropriate MS Office skills, word, excel with the ability to create documents
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • The candidate must be able to multi-task and work well within a high pace pressurised environment.
