Role Overview :

A big challenge in the development of automated driving software is the design and implementation of algorithms using modern C++ techniques.

The automated driving software engineers develop with the team the software components, interfaces and interactions between system parts like behavior, maps, environment model and trajectory generation.

This is a heavy software programming position for someone who likes to code.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert in software development using C++.
  • Apply state of the art design patterns and C++ techniques.
  • Implement the software architecture and execution strategies.
  • Integrate GPU accelerations and SIMD optimizations if needed.
  • Work together with the scientists to design the traffic scene representation.
  • Implementation and testing of state-of-the-art traffic scene modelling and understanding algorithms.
  • Qualifications

  • Master in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • Highly experienced with programming of C++11 and above.
  • Hands-on experience in defining software interfaces.

  • Already shipped several production software projects.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in integration of Functional Safety requirements.
  • Proficiency with self-driving car or automotive software technology.
  • Knowledge about real-time software systems.
