An interesting position as business analyst within the Risk & Finance IT Operational Risk Delivery Team in Warsaw.
Our IT Operational Risk Delivery Team is part of the RF IT Enterprise & OpRisk. RF IT is an integral part of the global IT function that underpins the Bank's corporate reputation and are responsible for implementing state of the art applications capable of receiving quality data in a timely manner.
Our objectives are to drive architectural simplification and reduce complexity, resulting in a stronger delivery capability.
The main responsibility for this role is to understand and validate the business requirements, align data requirements and design the solutions to produce functional specifications that will provide the basis for the implementation of the technical designs that will be defined and built by the development team specialists assigned to the project.
Responsibilities include :
You will liaise with Business subject matter experts and project team to understand relevant business processes and the nature of the reporting requirements.
You will define Functional Specifications per area of focus, including for relevant data sourcing, enrichments, calculations, and reporting, and oversee development of corresponding technical designs by developers assigned to same functional area.
You will define Functional Test Scripts and execute functional verification and troubleshooting of technical issues during Systems Integration Testing phases and UAT.
You will support change control and migration of code versions configuration for deployment of the application reporting solution to production environments and liaise with users for post-prod support.
You will provide technical support for the use of new functionality solution deployed to production environment.
The position will report to the IT Implementation Lead based in Zurich.
Collaboration with global project managers and IT counterparts may be required for global alignment of regulatory solutions across regions in scope under the Operational Risk Management Book of Work.

Bachelor degree in IT, finance, business or equivalent education.
5-8 years of experience as a business analyst in the financial industry, with demonstrated experience providing business analysis.
Excellent analytical skills and ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.
You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive personality and can-do attitude.
Your shown problem solving skills enable you to deal with time constraints and high pressure.
Having an understanding of all phases of an application development life cycle and development methodologies, and familiarity with IT platforms and software development methodologies.
Your excellent people management abilities and your good communication skills allow you to collaborate effectively and to build up professional relationships even with senior level executives.
Ability to communicate with diverse audience at varying levels of detail as appropriate, including with Business SME’s and IT application developers across multiple regions.
Functional expertise in Operational Risk business processes or regulatory requirements would be an advantage.
Fluency in written and spoken English (must) and German (would be an advantage).
