About the project
We are looking for people at all levels of advancement for long-term cooperation with our Engineering Competence Center.
The project is carried out for our customer, which is a global company with Swiss roots and one of the world's leading logistics automation companies.
They are headquartered in Switzerland and stand for innovation, quality, industry-leading software and robotics technologies developed in-house.
Their range of services includes : consulting, concept studies, project implementation, customer service, cutting-edge technologies and software.
You can work 100% remotely, occasional business trips across Europe (and optionally Middle East) might be required, up to 10-20% of the project time.
Your responsibilities
Reviewing and supporting software specifications phase and estimates
Detailed technical design
Software implementation and coding
Our requirements
OOP concepts knowledge
Strong knowledge of JSE platform
DBMS (Oracle / SQL Server / Postgres) and SQL experience : ability to write / understand queries of medium complexity
Experience in working with Web Services (main concepts at least)
Experience with JEE platform (at least a couple of basic technologies JDBC, JTA, JNDI)
Knowledge of at least 2 / 3 Design Patterns
Familiar with the Maven and EJB 3.x programming, async mechanisms which rely upon MDBs and JMS queues
Basic knowledge of at least one among these application servers : WebLogic, WebSphere and JBoss
ORM concept and JPA knowledge will be an asset
Basic knowledge of JUnit testing framework, Java Server Faces, SOAP and RESTful Web Services
