Due to the dynamic development of our organization we are now seeking for the best candidate for the position of SCM Manager.

The person hired on this position will be responsible for leading SCM team and executing PG, BU, ABB Group SCM strategy that supports the business by optimizing costs, management and development of supply base, increase of EM share and inventory management.

The Supply Chain Manager has direct responsibility for ensuring execution in accordance with the Company and Supply Chain Management Instruction and procedures.

Tasks :

  • Development and execution of short, mid and long term strategy for local supply and development strategy;
  • Definition and execution of strategy to reduce short, mid and long term supply cost base;
  • Documentation, development and improvement of Supply Chain Management processes;
  • Implementation of strategies, procedures and standards concerning safety;
  • Management and development of supplier development & quality function;
  • Managing of process to find, audit, rate and introduce new suppliers;
  • Managing of supplier contracts on local / regional level
  • Managing inventory levels;
  • Constant monitoring of business KPIs and creation of improvement plans in case of deviations from targets;
  • Cooperation with other local units in order to achieve synergies in Supply Chain Management area;
  • Cooperation with other departments in order to optimize deliveries and production process according to the local strategy.
  • Requirements :

  • Higher engineering degree;
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in the area of Supply Chain Management & Supplier Development preferably in the automotive industry;
  • Experience in leading a Supplier Development and Quality function;
  • Experience in project management;
  • In depth practical knowledge of Lean management principles and tools;
  • Good knowledge of Six Sigma processes;
  • Knowledge of International Trade rules;
  • Fluent knowledge of English in writing and speaking;
  • Strong negotiation skills, highly developed communicative and interpersonal abilities, ability to communicate with people at all company levels;
  • Self-motivation and orientation on results;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Ability to work under time pressure.
