You will be operating in a complex corporate environment with numerous interfaces and stakeholders at various levels and will implement ABB overall strategy as well as Division Operations strategy, processes and initiatives related to Continuous Improvement and Quality.

Cooperate with six localized manufacturing sites around the globe
Identify improvement projects in various disciplines like Engineering, SCM, Manufacturing in order to increase efficiency
Execute global and local improvement projects while working together with local CI teams aligned on Division strategy following the L6s approach
Represent the Division in cross divisional digitalization projects and to this topic related tool implementations
Facilitate best practice sharing within the division and cross divisional
Through project and training, identify key team member in each function to support in execution of projects within the location.
Encourage key individuals to further develop skills in L6S and advocate for them if projects come up that need their skillset.
Mentor and coach Business CI candidates. Develop pipeline of CI team members able to drive business results
Provide organization-wide visibility of the current portfolio of continuous improvement efforts; track via metrics / KPIs progress and value from these efforts in order to help decision makers allocate resources and recognize success, with special focus on operational cost reduction.
To work effectively with other CI lead
Control and align within the division the Top Quality issues
Coordinate and coach the organization in the event of global quality issue
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering or business administration
Minimum experience of 5 years in the area of Continuous Improvement and Quality
Minimum L6s Green Belt certified
Demonstratable knowledge of Project Management preferable in the area of continuous improvement
High customer and solution orientation, paired with a communicative personality and coaching skills
Team player with a multicultural approach and sensitivity
A dynamic, broad-minded, and result-oriented personality with strong analytical skills and ability to take decisions
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English, German is an advantage
