What You'll Do
As a DLS Supply Chain Finance Planner, You will play a pivotal role in helping to craft the future of CISCO Demo Loan Services during a period of rapid transformation of our business.
Reporting directly to the DLS Global Operations Manager you will be a part of the DLS Supply Chain Management team which owns service delivery of more 10000 demonstration shipments globally.
You will drive the inventory planning & supply control function which directly influence lead times & customer satisfaction metrics.
Scope includes material resource planning, inventory control process, cost management, and financial data reporting.
You will have an unusual possibility to re-invent Supply Chain Planning processes and become owner of those creations you will be able to observe how your ideas are growing in our organization.
This will be only possible, once you will combine your vast experience over the relevant topics (especially around Supply Chain Management & Finance) with your readiness to become creative and open for challenges.
Preparing monthly inventory purchase plans for demonstration fulfillment centers.
Define and implement financial metrics around
Responsible for reporting on utilization history of a given product or product family to determine demonstration requirements for next generation product releases.
Optimize DLS equipment inventory investment through development and management of supply and demand planning models.
Monitor the end-to-end inventories, evaluate the optimal inventory levels needed, and actively work with the various nodes to drive inventory utilization metrics to the optimal levels.
Work cross-functionally to drive the component / product collaborative planning and execution process.
As this a role within a global team position requires work with colleagues and partners located in different time zones.
Who You Are : Main requirements :
Main requirements :
5-6 years of supply chain experience Planning, Demand forecasting, Inventory management, Supply Chain, Supply Chain / Logistics Finance analytics.
Excellent communicator (written and verbal) and ability to build and deliver executive friendly presentations on complex business and supply chain topics
Experience collaborating with different functional teams
Data Analytics and Data Analysis.
Familiarity with Ordering tools, especially Oracle ERP
Quick learner and positive attitude
Logistics or Operations Management or Materials management experience
Supply planning and scheduling (i.e., supply-demand balancing, critical component allocation, inventory & constrained revenue planning)
Order management and / or Supply Chain Operations or Supply Chain Consultancy experience
