The purpose of this role is to work with stakeholders to develop and an execute Global category strategies for Corporate Indirect Services (HR, Facilities, Fleet, Marketing, Travel, Consulting, Financial Services, Temporary Staffing) which deliver improved value for money, reduce risk, improve quality and service as well as develop and deliver a procurement strategy and plan which meets or exceeds targets and expectations.

The successful candidate will exhibit excellent networking and communications skills and have experience in end-to-end project execution.

These categories require significant stakeholder engagement to maintain acceptance with stakeholders on a global basis. MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES Interface with key stakeholders and senior leadership team to gain a clear understanding of the organization’s strategic direction, existing policies, supply requirements and business priorities.

Analyse global spend, benchmark category trends and translate this into multi -year strategic sourcing strategies and implement programs that provide a competitive advantage to the business.

  • Develop, negotiate and manage contracts and suppliers for the categories in scope through supplier scorecards, quarterly business reviews;
  • measuring contract compliance and other key metrics to ensure targets are being met, system data is updated timely and accurately and value is being delivered to the business.

    Analyse and continuously monitor market and industry data and trends to ensure programs remain competitive throughout the agreement period.

    Provide regular and appropriate communications to stakeholders to ensure the business has an understanding of industry best practices, trends and categories knowledge.

    Interact with operational procurement teams, to identify best approach for handling operational transactions to lower administrative costs, ensure accountability, controls and drive efficiencies.

    Utilize available sourcing tools and technologies to conduct spend analysis, eSourcing, contract and supplier relationship management and strategic sourcing activities.

    Seek alternate and innovative ideas to provide business solutions, challenge requirements and specifications to create competitive advantage.

    QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor Degree required Professional certifications EXPERIENCE 8+ years in strategic sourcing with a proven track record of achieving year over year savings.

  • Subject matter expertise, including knowledge of industry trends, in applicable areas (HR, Facilities, Fleet, Marketing, Travel, Consulting, Financial Services) SKILLS / COMPETANCIES Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Fluent English is a must Confident when dealing with suppliers and senior management Excellent presentation skills Ability to influence multiple internal and external stakeholders Ability to lead and influence cross functional remote teams Strong analytical and project management skills Results oriented Negotiation skills Problem Solving skill - Able to identify problems and root causes;
  • suggest resolutions and drive execution.
