For our client, part of one of the largest financial institutions in Great Britain, we are currently looking for a Finance Business Intelligence Analyst!
As a Finance Business Intelligence Analyst, you’ll be providing timely and reliable financial insight and decision support through commercial and financial MI to drive senior and executive discussions.
We’ll look to you to deliver reporting including financials, hierarchy, budgeting and forecasting as well as finance initiatives and projects, drawing actionable business insights from these and developing solutions to meet business needs and improve processes.
You’ll review our existing processes and report on developments, ensuring consistency in the design, approach and principles to reporting and optimisation, alongside creating and maintaining process documentation.

your tasks
Through the course of your work you’ll be :
Influencing management decisions through your commercial and financial expertise
Providing commentary to explain data movements and the outlook for the future periods, along with revenue forecasts
Developing and maintaining professional, effective relationships with customers, stakeholders and employees at all levels
Overseeing all analytical aspects, MI development and insights generation for lending products for the Private Banking franchise
Leading the planning activities with the business in relation to mortgages and loans
Analysing net interest income and macroeconomic conditions impacting overall NIM positions
Analytical skills are a must for this role, and you’ll bring an enquiring nature along with excellent problem solving capabilities.

Stakeholder management skills including building and influencing relationships
Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and modelling will be an asset
Practical knowledge of BI tools (e.g. Tableau ) and / or Oracle Planning and Budgeting CS will be an asset
