Test Systems Engineering : Designs, builds, and deploys test solutions into our various global manufacturing sites. These solutions are used to program, tune, and test the company's product portfolio.
This helps ensure that our products are performing per customer specifications. This process is accomplished by working closely with our product development engineering and manufacturing facilities.
As a member of our team you will work on State of the Art Communication devices used by First Responders and our Commercial Customers to help them make a Difference in the Moments That Matter!
In this role you will :
Diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems of MSI portable and mobile subscriber products and infrastructure products in a repair environment.
Trace complex problems within a product that does not meet specific test and quality requirements and clearly define root cause of the problem.
Identify electrical and mechanical problems using various types of test equipment (Audio Analyzer, Signal Generator, Modulation Analyzer, Power Meter, Oscilloscope, Spectrum Analyzer, DMM, etc), simulators and several test applications.
Use your RF knowledge, microprocessor theory, communication protocols and excellent analytical skills to perform the necessary testing and inspections to determine root cause of failures.
Read and interpret schematics / diagrams to troubleshoot down to board and component levels..
Discuss results of failure analysis and corrective actions with management, product / quality engineers and test system engineers to help resolve issues.
3+ year RF related experience.
Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or Electrical Engineering Technology.
3+ years related experience in electronics troubleshooting
Familiar with programming languages C, C++, Labview
