The Learning & Talent Manager responsibility is working hand-in-hand with ABB colleagues to support the operation and effectiveness of the ABB Learning & Talent (L&T) team.

This individual will aid in the skill development of all ABB employees by managing the successful design, development and delivery of live and self-paced learning content and continuing training through consultation with key stakeholders, materials preparation, course follow-up and reporting.

Another two crucial dimensions to take care of are Talent Management and Diversity and Inclusion.

The Learning & Talent Manager will partner with internal stakeholders and teams. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge in Learning and Development as well as Talent Management area to execute complex and specialized projects and provide coherent solutions.

Your responsibilities

  • Implementing the global learning and talent strategies in alignment with Group guidance, policy, and procedures by delivering best in class standard and customized learning and talent solutions.
  • Keeping the L&D offer attractive, relevant and up-to-date for the organization and acting as an internal trainer for soft skills and interpersonal communication topics.
  • Recommending new practices, processes, or policies to improve HR function.

  • Training design and delivery, driving the identification and revision of training and development needs on individual, team and department level, offering consulting and guidelines.
  • Developing and maintaining trusting and effective working relationships with managers to provide tailor made development projects.
  • Supporting the new hire onboarding process to accelerate employee orientation and readiness for the role.
  • Working with Global Learning Team to assess, plan, develop, and deliver learning and talent initiatives. Supporting cross-functional initiatives.
  • Managing performance development appraisal process, talent assessment solutions across all Functions, compiling attendance, satisfaction metrics, and monthly training summary reports.

  • Your background

  • Master degree in HR area : Psychology, Training and Development, Adult Education.
  • At least 4 years of experience in HR area, especially Learning and Development or Talent Management.
  • Proven track of designating and delivering Soft skills trainings, workshops and programs facilitation. Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Proven contribution to various HR -related projects focused on process designing, improvements, with a customer at the core.
  • Ability to utilize cross-function knowledge for complex HR projects.

  • Knowledge regarding usage of HR systems and procedures (loyalty agreements).
  • Proven ability to create and maintain professional relations with clients and stakeholders.
  • Certified in talent assessment tools ( i.e. PAPI -3, TDA, BIT).
  • English language at C1 level.
