International Operations Centre (IOC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe.

Custody & clearing services offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland and other markets. Manager in Transfer Agency

Main Job Purpose :

  • Manager has to ensure all staff are trained, developed and coached.
  • Manager is responsible for service quality, cost and budget according to the SLA.
  • Should deliver a minimum 5% per year of productivity in service quality delivery by implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain superior relationship with Service Providers and external clients by constructively managing their requirements
  • Responsibilities :

  • Communicating the strategy, plans and objectives to the department
  • Ensure monthly staff meetings, regular feedback sessions to staff, twice yearly appraisals, incident review meetings, succession planning and career development.
  • Leading by example from the front, inspire staff, foster cooperative and positive culture ensuring that all employees work as a single team with their peers across domains, business lines and locations.
  • Promote social events to continuously maintain and improve team spirit. Ensure support to other departments when necessary.

  • Ensure that all the MI, KPI, KRI, KMP, BCP, BCM files and reports are updated and distributed on regular basis. Service reviews meetings organized and held with spokes locations.
  • Suggest improvements and follow up their development in TA applications.
  • Secure and evolve necessary controls and procedures so that operational risk is mitigated
  • Support the Robotics and ACE projects
  • Acting and behaving appropriately to comply with the general ethical standards expected by the Bank and relevant Regulatory Authorities.
  • Ensure staff’s strict compliance to BNP Paribas Group’s polices and standards.

  • As a member of the Warsaw TA management team contribute widely to the successful development of TA Department and Warsaw IOC.
  • Proactively prepare and coordinate future internationalization projects, ensure smooth transition to Warsaw without service degradation.
  • Support the Head / Deputy Head of TA when needed
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for the spoken legacy location or / and clients and stakeholders
  • Set the goals and the vison for the governed section, in line with the TA goals and policies
  • Proactively support Head / Deputy Head of TA Poland in any BAU topics, crisis management, meetings and projects as well as internationalization projects.
  • Requirements :

  • 5-year experience of Securities Services or Fund Management Operations or associated sectors would be appropriate.
  • At least 5 years of management experience in an Operations environment, ideally Fund Services
  • Capable of building a well working relationship with senior Ops, IT and Product Managers in BP2S is an invaluable attribute.
  • An ability to deal with colleagues from different cultures is a key.
  • Polish language and French language skills are an asset
  • Knowledge of Fund Services is important or else ability to learn quickly leveraging on related experience.
