Job Description :
The Network Architect is typically account based, providing technical design, assurance, and consultation in the support of solutions, projects, and service for one or more accounts.
The Network Architect as part of their assignment reports to a Practice Manager within Solution Management and Architecture.
This role is part of a Technical Architecture team responsible for the Technical Design and Assurance of the customer’s Network and Security infrastructure.
To do this involves building up a detailed and in-depth understanding of the customer’s infrastructures, systems and applications and being aware of any new or inflight projects or changes.
They are the technical experts for Networks and Security for their customers providing input and guidance to the Lead Technical Architect and Technical Strategy Director in the support of the Account Technical strategy.
Main duties consist of :
Maintenance and development of detailed designs within the Network environment,
Develop, support, and implement architecture roadmaps and high-level designs for the Network environment,
Drive, check and accompany major changes on Network environment
Provide technical 2nd / 3rd line support with complex incidents and / or problems to the operation,
Removes obstacles within the service delivery and creation; maintains a view on the bigger picture, even in very complex situations, evaluating interim results and their effect on achieving overall goals,
Contribute in Network customers implementations and transitions projects,
Drive technology standardization in new and existing environments,
Continuously assess the Network landscape, start improvement proposals (for all landscape components on both effectiveness and efficiency) and manage initiatives to completion,
Execute Life Cycle Management for Network infrastructure components,
Assess compliance to service standards and start actions to mitigate risks in case of deviations.

Must hold CCIE or CCDP industry level qualification or have equivalent technical ability and experience
Must hold JNCIE or JNCIP industry level qualification or have equivalent technical ability and experience

Technical focus and drive
Proven successful skills in providing technical design and architecture solutions specifically Networks and Security
Professional and dynamic approach, demonstrates a clear passion for delivering world class IT services and solutions
Previous experience in a Network Architecture role appreciated
