About this opportunity

Welcome to the Accounting & Management Reporting Operations team. We add value by developing and providing high quality process support services towards Nordea’s finance organisation and financial market regulators.

As an Automation Specialist you’ll play a valuable role in automation of the operational accounting processes performed in our department aiming to maintain or improve the current deliverables whilst improving efficiency, enhancing quality and delivering transparency to the stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing :

  • Identify automation potentials across a number of areas including management reporting and financial and accounting processes
  • Automate of ETL processes using various technologies e.g. Python, Alteryx, VBA, SQL
  • Collaborating with operational team in AMRO as well as automation supporting units i.e. Automation team, Solution Development, Robotics, Process Excellence team in Poland and in the Nordics
  • You’ll join a team of specialist which main expertise is implementation of ETL processes using different technologies such as Python, VBA and / or SQL.

    The role is based in Łodź.

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Structured problem solving
  • Your experience and background :

  • Ability to write Python, SQL, VBA code.
  • Experience with ETL tools (Alteryx would be an asset)
  • Knowledge and experience with standard accounting principles and processes
  • Experience of automating operational processes
  • English on professional level (at least B2)
