If you are interested in managing a ServiceNow DevOps team that builds, tests, implements and supports the ServiceNow ITOM, Asset, and ITBM, modules for the GSK Global Support Functions (IT, Finance, Procurement, Facilities, Legal), a ( Senior) Engineering Manager ITOM & Asset role is just for you.
You will be working in a matrixed Agile team utilizing the SAFe methodology.
This role will provide you the opportunity to lead key activities to progress your career. These responsibilities include some of the following :
Directly support delivery of the platform strategy and roadmap
Build, train, manage and mentor a development team to configure and deploy a comprehensive ServiceNow platform
Assess and identify training and skill-development opportunities to ensure the ServiceNow development team stays current with platform releases and industry standards
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on platform operations, configuration and development to include 3rd party integrations
Ensure consistent ways of working to maintain platform health and compliance.
Work with other leads to help prioritize program and product backlogs
Engage with Product Managers & Product Owners to bring forward business value to platform initiatives
Support test, demonstration and release management for all platform modules : ITOM, Asset, and ITBM
Accountable for technical solutions proposed / implemented and all changes pushed to the production environment.
Development effort includes (but not limited to) enhancements, customized portal web pages, portal consolidation, automated workflow solutions, advanced scripting of business rules, UI policies, client scripts, 3rd party software integrations, bi-directional API-based solutions etc
Lead administration of ServiceNow instances (environment sync, upgrades, quarterly patches etc.)
Drive continuous improvement within your own development team and matrixed agile teams while maintaining or improving key performance indicators (KPIs)
Basic Qualifications :
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals :
5 years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
Blended technical and management skills to lead high performance teams as well as contribute in configuration and development
Preferred Qualifications :
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus :
System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, JSON, HTTP, REST / SOAP
Demonstrated Agile, Scaled Agile, Kanban experience
