Currently we are looking for exceptional Senior Accountant to join out Global Shared Services in Łódź.
Core responsibilities :
Completing all R2R Month End Close Activities. These activities include but are not limited to :
Maintain accurate statutory recordsProduce monthly control files to ensure all reconciliations are completePerform monthly Balance Sheet ReconciliationsReconcile and confirm monthly inter-company balancesPerform month end close processEnsure appropriate business controls are in place, recommend improvements where necessaryPrepare GL journal entriesGL reconciliationsPrepare regular and ad hoc reports
Completing all P2P activities :
Dealing with daily accounting matters,Invoice verification for data correctnessPosting invoices in the SAP system & payment proposal preparationChecking supplier balancesOngoing contact and support of an English-speaking customerParticipation in the month closing processes
SAP implementation including :
Preparing specific upload filesProcess control checksImplementation of new activities that are done on SAPActive participation in continuous improvement initiatives, new technology rollouts, and process design activities,Performing daily work and managing day-to-day issues, escalating pro-actively observations and incidents to Team Lead and / or Group Accounting as appropriateProvide support for all miscellaneous or ad Hoc request.
Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent),2-5 years in Accounting or Finance roles,Proficiency in English,Deep understanding of accounting processes and related tasks and activities,Able to see the wider context but also deep dive’ into detail where necessary,Sound judgment and problem analysis skills,Confidence & experience in building financial models and business cases,Experience in any ERP system would be an advantage,Positive attitude and customer focus.
