Production Team Manager

Mars Polska is actively recruiting for one of key roles in the supply area to meet demands of implemented improvements and planned factory extension.

We are seeking a candidate to manage a few dozen strong team in one of our factories located in Sochaczew.

As a Production Team Manager you will :

Organize and supervise production-related activities on a given shift, including analyzing production results, managing workforce and vacancies, taking actions and decisions in problem situations

Build and manage an engaged and effective team of production associates by coordinating work, assessing performance, motivating and ensuring constant development and safety of direct reports

Lead project groups and / or participate in projects (including international ones)

Execute production plans while ensuring required safety and quality levels

Implement and execute production standards in line with Lean Manufacturing

We are interested in candidates with :

Ability to work shifts (in a 4-crew system)

A master degree, preferably in technical sciences

An interest in production processes and Lean methodology

Some practical experience in managing teams or in project work (internships, membership in student organizations)

Natural leadership skills and willingness to develop

Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Very good knowledge of English to use in a multinational working environment

Ability to deal with stress and take decisions in difficult situations

Excellent communication skills

Result orientation

Proactive approach and initiative in implementing improvements and innovations at work

Openness to learn and continuously improve one’s competences in production management
