Can you cover the full P&L responsibility and manage all the sales activitiesfor the Polish market?
We are on a hunt for an inspiring Senior Country General Manager. You as thenew GM will manage our sales team in Poland.
You will also hold someadditional general management responsibilities for the Polish organizationtogether with the regional roles located in our Warsaw office (approx.
80people). You will report to our Head of the EMEA CSEE market (Central SouthEastern Europe), which includes countries such as Bulgaria, Croatia, CzechRepublic, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia.
What will be your responsibilities once you join the team?
Developing and executing the sales strategy with the full country P&Lownership to maximize the profitable growth on the Polish market and maintainthe leader position
Managing the sales team and all organization in the most efficient way toensure delivering the sales targets, as well as other KPIs
Providing accurate sales forecasting on quarterly basis together with morefrequent updates on the sales progress if necessary (including both revenueand margin)
Driving the country team performance and talent management reviews anddecisions
Ensuring high employee engagement and right organizational set up
Aligning internally and externally all businesses towards the companystrategy and representing Lenovo in press & medias and other externalgovernment and industry parties
Statutory representation of Lenovo entities and ensuring compliance with thelocal legislation and corporate code of conduct
The role is located in Warsaw, but some travels will be required
Position Requirements :
What do we expect from you?
Experience in leading a sales organization in the IT industry on the Polishmarket, together with well-established up-to-date network of connections atsenior level in Poland
You should have 15+ years of related experience and in-depth understandingof the consumer electronics or / and the hardware IT industry, with the PCmarket expertise as an advantage
Indirect sales environment experience with the expertise in the commercialand / or consumer market; knowledge of the distribution and Tier 2 channel willbe a definitive asset
You are an energetic person who can build trust and respect of the team
You know how to build and develop the sales teams with high sense ofaccountability
Work experience from a matrix, international organization including a lot ofinteractions with the stakeholders
Financial and analytical acumen
Fluency in English & Polish language
