The opportunity :
An exciting opportunity in GDS PolandCentral Operations team, supporting GDS Poland Leadership in variety ofinitiatives around Project Management, Strategy, Change Management, Technology,Process Improvement and Organizational Design.
The main objective of the role willbe to work closely with the Location Leader as well as Central OperationsLeadership team on leading and implementing business imperatives of varyingsize and complexity, by collaborating with GDS teams across functions and locationsin enabling business goals.
Essential Functions of the Job :
Work closely with GDS Poland Leadership on transformation efforts as well as other strategic initiatives
Create value for stakeholders by executing initiatives on GDS Poland as well as pan GDS level
Drive projects identified by the Location Leader as well as Central Operations Leadership team
Proactively perform assessment of opportunities and come up with ideas for projects
Successfully manage assigned projects to agreed schedule, budget and scope
Perform relevant project management processes - i.e. initiate, plan, execute, monitor and control and close
Perform supporting activities as e.g. scope, cost, time, issue, risk, resource, communication and stakeholder management
Identify potential points of contention for missed deliverables, create and implement strategies to mitigate shortfalls in timeline and budget
Anticipate issues before they occur, define risks, identify possible causes, implement fixes
Interface and communicate with various project teams, management and stakeholders
Skills and attributes for success :
Experience in managing senior stakeholders with focus on developing and enhancing business relationships
Leadership skills with ability to facilitate team work across multitude of functions and cultures
3 years of professional experience in similar role
Ability to learn and understand functional processes around business operations
Ability to turn ideas into projects independently while bringing diverse and thought-provoking perspectives to explore solutions to business issues
Ability to guide, lead and coach project teams across the lifecycle of projects
Good analytical, judgment, tact and decision-making ability along with critical thinking skills
Ability to plan for and manage change
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good understanding of standard project methodologies - project initiation, current state analysis, future state design, process design, implementation and project transition / close Project Management Certification preferred
Strong MS Office skills
