Role Purpose

The role holder is responsible for achieving the high level of quality and integrity of developed software / hardware modules, products or solutions by conducting tests and evaluations.

To analyze improvements in test methods.

Responsibilities

  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating quality assurance (QA) activities
  • Identifying, recording, documenting and tracking bugs
  • Reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
  • Creating comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Running manual and automated tests of software products, identifying and reporting issues
  • Cooperating with customers, partners and internal teams
  • Liaising with regional teams to clarify requirements
  • Preparing reports to communicate outcomes of quality assurance activities
  • Requirements

  • Good knowledge and understanding of Python / Bash
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Quality Assurance Knowledge
  • Proven work experience in software quality assurance
  • Experience in testing SOAP / REST APIs
  • Experience and very good understanding of software integration solutions
  • Experience in writing clear and concise test documentation (test scenarios, test cases)
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - verbal and written
  • Problem analysis and problem solving skills
  • Hands-on experience in ServiceNow or other ITSM solutions will be an asset
  • Hands-on experience in test automation will be an asset
  • Good command of English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of German will be an asset
  • Key Performance Indicators

  • Achievement of targeted product quality
  • Release of products & solutions on time, to budget and in accordance with agreed specifications and standards
  • Documentation of steps, milestones and processes in line with requirements. Creation of new test specifications and knowledge sharing documents
  • Escalated problems are solved
  • Processes, guidelines and procedures are applied and improved.
  • Recognized as an expert in a specific technical area
  • Effective communication and positive team work
  • Continuous skill development in various areas in accordance with market / industry development (breadth / depth of knowledge)
