Business Intelligence (BI) Solution Architect
We are looking for a Business Analyst in Warsaw to undertake a multi-year strategic programme delivering scalable high-performance platform with unified data store, integrated risk engines and analytical Business Intelligence tool optimizing the current business model.
The objective of this role is to lead the business functional design and solution validation of the Business Intelligence (BI) platform for Treasury.
The candidate is expected to develop excellent understanding of liquidity methodology and balance sheet management practices and will lead, on behalf of Treasury business, development of internal MI platform.
Candidate will ensure compliance with both internal and regulatory liquidity requirements, drive implementation standardisation and delivery of agreed business benefits.
The candidate will manage stakeholder engagement and ensure efficient communication.
Lead selection of BI tools and solutions and support definition of strategic roadmap
Provide inputs into the strategic direction of Treasury platforms and validate projects plans
Collaborate with delivery partners on the definition of the proposed solution ensuring that it is fit-for-purpose, scalable and cost effective
Ensure that MI are delivered for critical initiatives and that business benefits are realised
Lead the definition and support the execution of test cases for user acceptance testing (UAT)
Lead the collaboration with Regional Analytics and delivery team to ensure successful training and embedment of developed tools for Treasury users
Provide ongoing product management maintenance and support
Manage communication with relevant teams to understand user needs, resolve issues and promote usage of the developed products
Functional Experience and Knowledge
10+ years of work experience and 6+ years of Business Intelligence (BI) platform implementation experience in banking as a functional consultant.
Previous BI implementation experience in Treasury risk function in Tier 1 bank is an added advantage
Obligatory past experience with BI platforms, such as Oracle BI, Tableau, Business Objects and similar.
Proven experience in process automation, solution design, software product development or system implementation
Proven ability to comprehend business requirements and processes, to identify inefficiencies, risk, and to provide appropriate business solutions or alternatives.
Ability to independently arrive at conceptual solutions
Critical thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Good interpersonal skills, with ability to forge strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Prior experience with Balance Sheet Management platforms (Moody’s Analytics, QRM, Oracle, etc.) or booking platforms (Murex, Kondor, etc.) is an advantage
